Internet Network Marketing – Back To Basics With The Letter H
Remember when you were back in grade school and you learned how to write a basic journalism paper?
The main principle was to include the 5 Ws.
Who, What, Where, Why, and When. Answer these 5 Ws and your paper received an A+. This is still very important to marketing when trying to present your Network Marketing opportunity.
The big mistake most Network marketers are making when advertising on the Internet or presenting their opportunity to prospects is that they are forgetting the most important letter. That letter is H and it stands for HOW.
It is very important to understand that although you may think your product, opportunity and company are the greatest things on the planet, most people could care less. When people begin researching different opportunitiies and read through the 5 Ws if they don’t see the HOW part they will probaby be uninterested in joining your team.
Why? The fact is that people interested in working from home want to know How they are going to do it. Most people lack basic marketing skills and will never join if they don’t think they can do it. It does not matter to them how great your product works or how solid your company is, if they do not feel confident that you have a HOW included in your mix.
Too many people are presenting their opportunity backwards. They begin with the product and the company because that is what they were taught to do.
The prospect is wondering about 2 important items.
1. Do they like you and believe you. Are you connecting with this person?
2. Do you have a plan or system to help them be successful. This is where the HOW comes into play.
Remember. people join people, not companies and when you begin your presentation without building a relationship and explaining HOW you are going to help them do it you will lose them somewhere between the product and the compensation plan part of your presentation.
Once they feel comfortable with you and confident that you have a solid plan for them then they become more interested in your product and company.
Here is tip for you.
Sit down and go over your presentation and restructure it to focus more on the prospect and their WHY. Once you have built a relationship with the person and have gotten to know them better you can focus on how you can help them. This is when your product and opportunity can serve as the perfect solution to their problem.
Look at your Marketing tools like your capture pages. Is there a HOW in your ad? Are you effectively communicating to the viewer that you have a solid marketing system to help them get started and be successful? You may want to use your system as bait for getting them to opt in to your capture page.
