Why I support Vernon Parker for Congress in Arizona

As a small business owner in Phoenix it is important to me that we send people to congress that have our best interests in mind.

If you live in Arizona congressional district 3 you are probably aware that John Shadegg is retiring this year. This leaves the republican primary wide open and there are numerous choices.

After much research it is really down to 2 candidates - Ben Quayle or Vernon Parker.

So which one will get my vote? I researched each one carefully and as a small business owner here in Phoenix i want to make sure whoever gets my vote is going to go to Washington and fight for the little guy. I am tired of career politicians that will say anything to get my vote and then go to Washington and become part of the status quo.

Why I will vote for Vernon Parker in the 3rd Congressional district primary.

Is Ben Quayle a Political Opportunistic?

Although Ben Quayle seems like a decent person, I am very concerned with his reasons for wanting this position. He recently moved back to Arizona and seems to be running solely on name recognition. I am not confident that this is more of political opportunism versus really wanting to help us in Arizona. Just because his father Dan Quayle was vice president does not persuade me to vote for him. This is my opinion and gut feeling.

I personally met Vernon Parker and was very impressed!

I was invited to a friends house where Vernon Parker was speaking and was able to look him in the eye and ask tough questions about what he plans to do once he gets to Washington and how he is going to help small business owners survive this devasting attack we have been under over the past several years.

I was very impressed with Vernon Parker and his straight forward answers. He did not strike me as a hard core politician and was very concise on how he plans to support Arizona in congress. Prior to that meeting I was still undecided as to who to vote for.

Let’s replace John Shadegg with someone who will not become part of the Washington elite!

Arizona needs new blood in Washington that is willing to stand up for us without all the Washington BS. I believe that Vernon Parker is his own man and will not fall victim to the old guard republicans that quite frankly do not represent me anymore.

Get out and vote if you are in Arizona Congressional District 3. The republican primary is on August 24th and it will be a tight race.  I am fully behind Vernon Parker and encourage you to do some research on all candidates and make your decision based on who you feel will represent us best in Washington.
